Ministry of Education Honors 48 Teachers in Recognition of Their Excellence in Memorizing and Reciting the Holy Quran

The Assistant Undersecretary for Administrative and Financial Affairs at the Ministry of Education, Mohammed Al-Khalidi, stressed today, Saturday, the importance of reinforcing religious and educational values and instilling the status of the Holy Quran in the hearts of those working in the educational field. He commended the participants’ efforts and highlighted the competition’s role in encouraging educational staff to continue memorizing and reciting the Quran.

This statement was made in an interview with the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on the occasion of the closing ceremony of the eighth edition of the Abdullah Al-Mutawa Competition for Memorizing and Reciting the Holy Quran, organized by the Al-Mumtazeen Foundation and under the patronage of Minister of Education Sayed Jalal Al-Tabatabai. The event honored 48 male and female teachers in recognition of their participation and efforts in the competition.

Al-Khalidi appreciated the Ministry of Education’s support for Quranic initiatives and its acknowledgment of the efforts of educational staff in areas that contribute to developing faith and moral dimensions. He emphasized the ministry’s commitment to continuing its support for programs that enhance authentic values and enrich the educational environment.

It is worth noting that the Abdullah Al-Mutawa Competition for Memorizing and Reciting the Holy Quran was launched in 2018 in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, with the aim of encouraging teachers to memorize and recite the Holy Quran and to strengthen the presence of the Quran in the educational field.
