KCST participates in the closing of the first edition of the "Athar" program

The Kuwait College of Science and Technology (KCST) participated in the closing ceremony of the first edition of the “Athar” training program, organized by the Investment Companies Association. The event was held on Tuesday, September 15, at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and attended by Dr. Tariq Al-Jalahma, Minister of State for Youth and Sports Affairs.

The program, which ran for six weeks, selected 25 students from among 127 applicants representing five universities in Kuwait. Its aim was to provide students with the opportunity to gain practical experience and gain a close understanding of the investment and financial sectors.

KCST was represented in the program by two students who successfully passed the screening and selection stages. They benefited from a hands-on training experience that helped develop their professional skills and enhance their expertise in the workplace environment.

KCST’s participation in the “Athar” program underscores the college’s commitment to linking academic education with practical experience and strengthening its partnerships with labor market sectors, thereby supporting students’ readiness for their professional careers.
