150 Russians in Kuwait voted for the State Duma

Approximately 150 Russian citizens cast their votes in the elections for deputies to the State Duma of the Russian Federation’s Federal Assembly at the polling station located at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the State of Kuwait, according to the embassy’s post on the “X” platform on Friday.

The polling station saw a turnout from Russian citizens residing and working permanently in Kuwait, amid a friendly and positive atmosphere that provided members of the Russian community with an opportunity to meet and interact with one another. A number of voters made a point of attending with their families, and the presence of children was notably prominent.

The participation of members of the Russian community in the elections underscored, as reflected in the voting atmosphere, their connection to their homeland and their commitment to exercising their electoral rights, alongside the sense of civic responsibility they demonstrated.
