These awards underscore KFH’s success in developing Sharia-compliant wealth management services and embedding sustainability (ESG) principles and standards across its operations. This reflects the bank’s commitment to innovation, enhancing the customer experience, and delivering sustainable value, alongside its qualitative achievements in digital banking and the cumulative results of its continuous investment in technology and innovation.
The awards were accepted by Ghazi Al-Anzi, Deputy General Manager of Private Banking and Wealth Management, and Ahmed Al-Othman, Chief Executive Officer of Tam Digital Bank, during the Euromoney Awards ceremony held in Dubai.
KFH’s wins for Best Islamic Bank for Wealth Management in the Middle East and Best Islamic Bank for Wealth Management in Kuwait highlight its success in developing its private banking and wealth management business, transforming it into an integrated advisory platform that combines Sharia-compliant banking, financing, and investment solutions.
According to Euromoney, KFH restructured its private banking and wealth management operations under a unified framework and launched a new operating model aimed at enhancing the customer experience, developing investment capabilities, and offering more advanced Islamic wealth management solutions. This transformation was supported by investments in specialized talent and technology, as well as the continuous development of KFH Capital, the bank’s investment arm.
The magazine noted that a key pillar of KFH’s strategy is the redesign of its client relationship management model through a specialized advisory framework that integrates relationship managers, investment specialists, financing specialists, and account managers. This enables clients to benefit from comprehensive expertise tailored to meet their banking, financing, and investment needs.
Euromoney also highlighted the bank’s focus on human capital development, noting that its private banking and wealth management teams completed advanced training programs with Moody’s, obtained professional certifications from the Certified Institute for Securities and Investment, and participated in specialized advisory programs in Islamic wealth management.
On the investment services front, Euromoney pointed to the bank’s launch of a global discretionary portfolio management service. Based on the bank’s internal investment vision and asset allocation model, this service provides clients with a diversified, multi-asset investment approach through an open-ended selection of Sharia-compliant investment funds.
Digital innovation played a pivotal role in this success, as the magazine highlighted the launch of the “Bait Capital” application, a new asset management system designed to unify the management of funds and investment portfolios. This was accompanied by the development of the “KFH Wealth” application, which provides clients with more efficient access to their investment portfolios. The launch of the “Allfunds” platform in Kuwait also contributed to expanding access to Sharia-compliant investment opportunities.
The magazine added that “Bait Al Tamweel” achieved record profits in its private banking and wealth management segments, alongside notable growth in assets under management during the evaluation period. This reinforces its position as the benchmark for modern, advisory-driven Islamic wealth management in Kuwait.
Bait Al Tamweel’s award for Best Islamic Bank in Kuwait for its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices reflects the bank’s comprehensive approach to sustainability and responsible banking.
The magazine noted that sustainability considerations have become an integral part of the bank’s banking activities, through increased investment in green sukuk and sustainability-linked sukuk, as well as financing national infrastructure projects, including wastewater treatment facilities that support water reuse and enhance resource utilization efficiency.
The magazine also highlighted the bank’s efforts to reduce energy consumption across its branch network by implementing energy-efficient systems, upgrading cooling systems, and introducing automated control systems that have improved operational efficiency.
In this context, Bait Al Tamweel has completed several certified green buildings, including structures that have obtained both “GSAS Gold” and “LEED Gold” certifications. These achievements reflect tangible improvements in energy and water consumption efficiency and waste management, contributing to the establishment of sustainability standards in Kuwait’s commercial real estate sector.
On the social front, Euromoney praised the bank’s “Creating Shared Value (CSV)” platform, which has facilitated the implementation of more than 200 community initiatives. These initiatives included allocating 8 million dinars for the reconstruction of 17 buildings in the Mubarakiya Market, and allocating 18 million dinars to support a specialized heart disease center.
The initiatives were further supported by more than 3,000 hours of volunteer work, the distribution of over 18,000 meals during Ramadan, and support for 1,680 families, thereby contributing to enhanced healthcare, the preservation of national heritage, and the strengthening of essential community services.
The magazine also noted that Bait Al Tamweel has maintained robust governance standards through direct board-level oversight, comprehensive emissions measurement, and the integration of sustainability considerations into credit assessment processes. This strengthens the alignment of sustainability goals with risk management and capital allocation decisions.
Euromoney stated that Bait Al Tamweel is a leader in Kuwait’s digital banking landscape, driven by the strategic development of Tamweel Digital, the first Sharia-compliant digital bank in Kuwait.
Tameem Bank’s digital strategy is anchored in four key investment pillars: digital infrastructure, cybersecurity and compliance, product innovation, and delivering a seamless customer experience. This has resulted in the launch of a fully mobile banking platform that provides instant, secure, and user-friendly banking services, with a particular focus on the youth segment aged 15 and above. This approach has reinforced KFH’s position as a leader in digital transformation across the region, while maintaining strict Sharia governance and high operational flexibility.
By executing a clearly defined digital vision and achieving tangible, measurable improvements in customer experience and engagement levels, KFH has solidified its position as a pioneer in digital banking in Kuwait.
Through Tameem, the bank underscores that disciplined investment, customer-centric design, and continuous innovation can translate into sustainable long-term digital leadership.
KFH has successfully strengthened its digital presence by upgrading its technological infrastructure and expanding the scope of services offered across various digital channels and platforms, alongside smart branches and self-service kiosks. This includes executing over 600 million digital transactions in 2025 and providing more than 200 integrated digital services via KFHonline, thereby reinforcing digital services as a primary banking choice for customers.
