Egypt's car customs unchanged

Ahmed Amwi, head of the Egyptian Customs Authority, denied recent reports suggesting an increase in customs duties on vehicles or a rise in the customs dollar rate. He stated, “There is no change in the customs dollar rate, and there is currently no study or intention to increase the customs dollar rate. No amendments have been made to the customs duties on vehicles.”
