Al-Jalahma and Al-Nasser signed the hosting agreement for the 'Asian Esports Federation'

Kuwait’s Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Tariq Al-Jalahma, and the President of the Kuwait Olympic Committee, Sheikh Fahad Al-Nasser, signed an agreement with the President of the Olympic Council of Asia, Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, to host the inaugural Asian Esports and Mind Sports Games in 2027. The signing took place on the sidelines of the opening of the 20th Asian Games in Japan.

Following the signing, Sheikh Fahad Al-Nasser, who serves as Vice President of the Olympic Council of Asia’s West Asia region and President of the Kuwait Olympic Committee, told KUNA that Kuwait’s hosting of the first edition reflects strong confidence in the country’s potential and organizational capabilities.

Al-Nasser expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the President of the Olympic Council of Asia and the members of its Executive Board for approving Kuwait’s bid to host the event, stating his pride in the trust placed in the nation.
