Kuwait to Host the 2027 First Asian Games for Esports and Mind Sports

The Executive Board of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) approved, during its 110th meeting held on Friday, Kuwait’s bid to host the first Asian Games for Esports and Mind Sports in 2027.
Sheikh Fahad Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Vice President of the OCA for the West Asia region and President of the Kuwait Olympic Committee, stated in a statement that Kuwait’s hosting of the inaugural edition reflects strong confidence in the country’s potential and organizational capabilities.
Sheikh Fahad Al-Sabah affirmed that the Kuwait Olympic Committee will work in cooperation and coordination with the OCA and relevant stakeholders to provide all necessary requirements to ensure the success of the Games and present them in the best possible light, befitting Kuwait’s stature and its ability to host and organize Asian sporting events.
He expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Sheikh Joaan Al-Thani, President of the OCA, and to the members of the Executive Board for approving Kuwait’s hosting of the Games, expressing his pride in this confidence.
