"The Plane" to Cairo Camp

The Kuwait national volleyball team will depart for Cairo on Saturday to hold a training camp that will run until October 4, in preparation for its participation in the Arab Championship in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan from October 5 to 15.

The coach of the "Volleyball Blues," Argentinean Julian Alvarez, selected an initial squad of 25 players for the preliminary preparation phase, which will later be reduced to 14 players before the team departs for the Cairo camp.

In the previous phase, the team conducted daily training sessions at the Union Hall within the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Complex. As part of the first stage of the preparation program, the coach focused on improving technical and physical readiness, enhancing endurance and muscular strength, and integrating physical and technical training to bring the players to the best possible level ahead of the Arab competition.

The Cairo camp will include intensified tactical work and several friendly matches, aimed at improving team cohesion and technical readiness. Following the conclusion of the camp, the delegation will travel directly to Jordan.
