Jara Al-Jaber in Berlin and London... Coordination to face regional challenges

Foreign Minister Sheikh Jaraah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, during his official visits to Berlin and London, explored ways to enhance partnerships and cooperation with Germany and the United Kingdom, and to intensify coordination on regional and international developments and diplomatic efforts aimed at de-escalation and promoting security and stability.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a statement on Wednesday that during the meeting with the German Foreign Minister, the close relations between the two friendly countries were reviewed, and both sides reaffirmed their commitment to intensifying Kuwaiti-German coordination across all fields and strengthening bilateral cooperation frameworks in various areas, reflecting the robustness of the distinguished relations between the two countries and advancing them to broader horizons in the interest of their shared objectives.
The ministry noted that both sides discussed recent regional and international developments and exchanged views on issues of mutual interest, foremost among them the developments in the region and diplomatic efforts aimed at de-escalation and enhancing security and stability.
The ministry also mentioned that during the meeting with the Special Advisor for Foreign and Security Policy to the German Federal Chancellor, the close relations between the two friendly countries were reviewed, along with ways to strengthen them in various fields to achieve the shared interests of both sides, alongside discussing the latest regional developments and efforts aimed at de-escalation and enhancing security and stability in the region.
In this context, Sheikh Jaraah Al-Jaber reviewed, during his official visit to the British capital London, with the UK Foreign Secretary and Minister for the Commonwealth and International Development, Ed Miliband, the solid strategic partnership between the two friendly countries and the close historical ties binding their peoples.
The Foreign Ministry stated in a statement on Tuesday that both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation frameworks in various fields, particularly political, defense, investment, and cultural, reflecting the robustness of the distinguished relations between the two countries and advancing them to broader horizons in the interest of their shared objectives.
It added that both sides discussed the latest regional developments and diplomatic efforts aimed at enhancing security and stability in the region, and ensuring the safety and freedom of maritime navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, emphasizing their commitment to intensifying Kuwaiti-British coordination across various fields and levels, given the delicate circumstances the region is experiencing, thereby enhancing their capacity to confront current challenges and respond to rapid developments.
