$1 million contribution from Al-Ma'aden to the Kuwait Emergency Response Fund

The Fund stated in a press release that the contribution comes amid the continued participation of private sector institutions in supporting the Fund, coinciding with its transition to a phase of financing projects and operations related to addressing the damage sustained by vital facilities and services in the country.
It added that the continuity of contributions enhances the Fund’s ability to direct its resources toward needs that meet funding requirements, in accordance with the approved regulations and standards, and in coordination with the relevant government entities.
It is worth noting that the Kuwait Emergency Response Fund was launched on July 5 of last year, initiated by the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, following the approval of the esteemed Council of Ministers. The Fund is responsible for managing and directing its resources to finance response and recovery efforts, as well as the repair of damage to essential facilities and services in the country.
