Director of the Joint Program: Strengthening Gulf media partnerships supports the development of the content industry

The organization stated in a statement that this took place during two meetings held by Sheikh Mubarak Fahad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on the sidelines of his participation in the 24th Arab Media Summit 2026 in Dubai, with Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Butti Al-Hamadi, Chairman of the National Media Authority of the United Arab Emirates, and Bahraini Minister of Information, Dr. Ramezan bin Abdullah Al-Nuaimi.
The statement quoted Sheikh Mubarak as saying that the organization’s participation in the Arab Media Summit stems from its commitment to an active presence in Gulf and Arab media events, and to benefiting from platforms that bring together leaders, decision-makers, and media professionals to discuss the future of the media and content industries.
He praised the summit’s standing and the importance of the platform it provides for dialogue and the exchange of visions and experiences, commending the efforts of the United Arab Emirates, the Dubai Media Council, and the Dubai Press Club in organizing the event.
He emphasized the importance of such gatherings in enhancing cooperation and integration among Gulf and Arab media institutions and exchanging expertise to contribute to the development of joint media work.
The Arab Media Summit 2026 is held under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, and under the directives of Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, with the participation of a distinguished group of officials, media leaders, journalists, and experts from the region and around the world.
