Al-Jaber and Miliband: Intensifying Kuwaiti-British coordination to confront challenges

Foreign Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Jaber met today, Tuesday, with British Foreign Secretary William Hague, during the latter’s official visit to the UK capital, London.

The meeting reviewed the established strategic partnership between the two friendly countries and the close historical ties binding their peoples.

Both sides affirmed their commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation frameworks across various fields, particularly political, defense, investment, and cultural areas, reflecting the robustness of the distinguished relations between the two countries and advancing them toward broader horizons to serve their shared interests.

The latest regional developments were also discussed, along with diplomatic efforts aimed at strengthening security and stability in the region and ensuring the safety and freedom of maritime navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
