31 companies on Kuwait Oil Company's list of drilling contractors

The list of onshore drilling services included companies from Kuwait, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, China, Egypt, India, Germany, Panama, the Cayman Islands, and Bermuda. The offshore drilling list included two companies from Saudi Arabia, one from the United Arab Emirates, two from China, one from Egypt, one from India, and one from Bermuda.

The update to the contractors’ lists coincided with the opening of 14 diverse tenders by the High Procurement Committee of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) and its subsidiaries on Tuesday. Among the most notable were four tenders related to Kuwait Petroleum Company (KPC), which were referred to the specialized teams to evaluate the submitted bids.

The tenders included the supply of spare parts for main “Wartsila” engines under a long-term supply agreement for a period of three years, with a bid valued at 5 million euros. They also included the supply of 15 wellheads for deep drilling in the Jurassic gas field, where Al-Jaliya Trading and Contracting Company submitted the lowest bid at 6.081 million dinars, compared to 8.823 million dinars from Schlumberger Oilfield Eastern. Additionally, the tenders covered the implementation and participation in a dedicated platform for procurement from source to payment in favor of Kuwait Petroleum Company, with a bid valued at 2.65 million dinars, as well as catering and reception services for the main office, for which three companies submitted bids, with the lowest bid amounting to 1.397 million dinars.

In another development, Kuwait Petroleum Company signed five long-term “BPO” agreements during the period from 2 to 31 August 2026, with a total value of 288.33 thousand dinars, all with a duration of four years.
