The Fire Department organized an awareness lecture on handling fires and emergencies at the Ministry of Islamic Affairs

The General Fire Force organized an awareness lecture titled “Be Aware During Emergencies” at the Ministry of Islamic Affairs auditorium, as part of its efforts to promote a culture of prevention and safety, and to enhance the readiness of human and administrative resources to handle fires, accidents, and emergency situations.

The lecture covered several topics related to the risks of fires and accidents, their main causes, and preventive measures to mitigate them, emphasizing the importance of swift action and adherence to correct procedures in the event of any emergency.

The session included an explanation of how to conduct safe evacuations during emergencies, the proper use of fire extinguishers, and the importance of smoke detectors in early warning and fire detection.

It also addressed the dangers of electrical overloads, short circuits, and gas leaks, along with preventive measures, and explained the safe and correct use of fire blankets in dealing with certain types of fires.

The lecture stressed the importance of raising preventive awareness among employees, noting that compliance with safety guidelines and proper handling of incidents from their initial moments directly contribute to protecting lives and property and limiting the escalation of risks.
