Al-Habshi discusses with the Environment Ministry enhancing attention to the Jahra Protected Area

Jahra Governor Hamad Al-Habshi expressed his commitment to opening new avenues for cooperation and coordination with the Public Authority for the Environment, particularly on issues related to the Jahra Reserve, in a manner that contributes to supporting awareness and media efforts and enhancing interest in the reserve and its conservation.

This came during a meeting in which Jahra Governor Nasser Al-Shamri received representatives from the Public Authority for the Environment’s Public Relations and Media Department. During the meeting, aspects related to the Jahra Reserve were reviewed, and the Authority’s representative provided an overview of the reserve, its environmental importance, and the efforts being made to preserve its natural components.

The meeting comes within the framework of Jahra Governorate’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with relevant government entities and supporting efforts and initiatives aimed at protecting the environment and highlighting the natural assets that the governorate is rich in.
