Yemen Legitimacy Support Alliance: Houthi Terrorist Attacks on Civilian Targets in Saudi Arabia

The coalition supporting legitimacy in Yemen confirmed on Tuesday that the Houthi terrorist militia continues its heinous and deliberate attacks on civilian infrastructure and civilians in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In a statement, Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki, the official spokesperson for the coalition forces, said, “The continuation of these deliberate and repeated attacks confirms the Houthi terrorist militia’s approach and extremist ideology of escalation and targeting civilian infrastructure and civilians.”

Al-Maliki clarified that the militia “carried out attacks on civilian infrastructure directed at the cities of Khamis Mushait, Abha, and Taif yesterday, Monday, using several ballistic missiles and drones, resulting in minor and moderate injuries to 13 civilians and damage to seven residential homes and two vehicles.”

He emphasized that “the joint command of the coalition forces will respond to these attacks with responsibility and firmness to protect the sovereignty of the Kingdom, as well as civilian infrastructure and civilians, from these heinous attacks, in accordance with Article 51 of the United Nations Charter, the principle of self-defense, international humanitarian law, and its customary rules.”
