Applied Science University students in China explore educational and technological experiences
A delegation of students from the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) gained insights into the experiences of leading universities, educational institutions, companies, and factories in the cities of Shenzhen and Shanghai during an educational and technical visit to the People’s Republic of China, as part of the cooperation between PAAET and the Chinese Embassy in Kuwait.
In a statement on Monday, PAAET noted that the visit by the distinguished delegation of students from the College of Technological Studies, led by Dr. Bashar Al-Zwair, included examining advanced educational, technological, and industrial experiences, and closely observing the latest applications in the fields of technology, innovation, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, robotics, automation, and smart manufacturing.
The statement added that the visit program included field tours at several major Chinese institutions and companies, including Huawei, BYD, and Robotic, where students learned about the nature of work, technologies used, production lines, and modern applications, as well as the rapid development witnessed in these sectors in the areas of technology and industry.
It further pointed out that the delegation visited several universities and educational institutions, gaining insight into the environment of education, training, research, and innovation, alongside learning about academic and practical experiences that contribute to preparing specialized cadres and supplying the labor market with future-oriented skills.
The statement conveyed the delegation’s appreciation for this experience, which provided them with the opportunity to explore various aspects of the Chinese experience and observe practical applications of the knowledge and skills they acquire in their specialties.
