Aman discusses in Italy the development of the crisis management system

The team responsible for establishing the National Center for Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management (AMAN) at the national level visited the Italian Civil Protection Administration to learn about Italy’s experience in crisis and disaster management, as well as its coordination mechanisms, emergency response procedures, and decision-support systems at the national level.
In a statement on Monday, the AMAN team said the visit was part of its program to study international experiences and draw on best practices in civil protection and crisis and disaster management, thereby supporting efforts to develop Kuwait’s national system.
During the visit, the team reviewed the center’s operational mechanisms, communication and coordination systems during crises, and procedures for handling various emergency situations. They also examined the role of the systems and technologies used to enhance response speed and improve the efficiency of crisis management.
The visit also included the Italian Civil Protection’s training center, where the team observed training, qualification, exercises, and simulation programs designed to enhance the readiness of personnel and response teams. They discussed ways to benefit from Italy’s experience in capacity building and specialized training.
