Destruction of more than 144 kg of spoiled food items

The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition announced the seizure of several violations and the destruction of 144,260 kilograms of food unfit for human consumption, as part of its ongoing regulatory efforts to protect consumer health and safety.

The Authority stated that the Inspection Department of the Capital Governorate detected various violations, including the display and sale of spoiled food, failure to comply with general hygiene standards during operations, and the operation of a food establishment after its health license had expired.
