“Al Arabiya.net” – In a rare and bizarre medical case, doctors in China discovered a 36-millimeter sewing needle embedded in the heart of a 35-year-old man, after he went to the hospital complaining of pain during urination and blood in his urine.

Despite the severity of the condition, his vital signs were within normal limits, and he exhibited no symptoms related to heart problems.

During imaging tests, doctors noticed a foreign metallic object near the heart. A CT scan revealed several metallic objects in different parts of the patient’s body.

The surprise did not end there; surgeons also found other needles that had penetrated the bladder wall, covered by hard, stone-like deposits.

Due to concerns about severe bleeding or urine leakage, the medical team decided to remove the needle from the heart first, with the needles in the bladder to be removed during a subsequent surgical procedure.

Although the patient recovered well after treatment, doctors were unable to determine how the needles entered his body.

Doctors at Hunan Provincial People’s Hospital said the patient and his family could not clarify the source of the metallic objects, suggesting the possibility that the needles had been intentionally inserted into his body.
