Mohamed bin Zayed and Abdullah II reaffirm their commitment to supporting regional stability

Emirati President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Jordanian King Abdullah II discussed, in Abu Dhabi, the fraternal relations and cooperation pathways between the two countries, and ways to enhance them across various fields in a manner that serves their developmental priorities and mutual interests, and brings benefits to their peoples.

The official WAM News Agency reported in a statement that Mohamed bin Zayed and Abdullah II reaffirmed their shared commitment to continuing to strengthen and expand the scope of UAE-Jordanian relations in economic, commercial, developmental, and other sectors, within the framework of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement binding them.

They reviewed a number of regional issues and topics of common interest, foremost among them the developments in the Middle East region, and exchanged views on them, emphasizing their commitment to continuing fraternal consultations and coordination on various issues, in support of efforts to consolidate lasting peace and stability in the region.
