Saudi Ministry of Energy: Precautionary Shutdown of East-West Pipeline Following Multiple Attacks

A senior source at the Saudi Ministry of Energy stated that the East-West Pipeline in the Riyadh and Medina regions came under multiple attacks yesterday morning, Thursday. As a precaution, the pipeline was shut down, and the attacks resulted in some injuries, for which medical care was provided.
The ministry’s X account reported that the source clarified that emergency teams and specialized technical units began their work immediately after the attacks, taking necessary measures to secure the pipeline and verify its integrity, in accordance with approved safety procedures and emergency plans, in coordination with relevant authorities.
