Kuwait Participates in the International Space Summit in Paris

Kuwait participated in the International Space Summit, held in the French capital, Paris, on Wednesday and Thursday of last week. The summit was jointly organized by France and Germany to discuss the future of the space sector and enhance international cooperation in addressing its scientific, technological, economic, and environmental challenges.

The Kuwaiti delegation at the summit was led by Dr. Amna Farhan, Director General of the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences, and included Dr. Hala Al-Jassar, Director of the Kuwait National Space Research Center. The delegation was joined by numerous leaders, officials, and representatives from space agencies, scientific institutions, and specialized companies from more than 90 countries.

The summit focused on three main pillars: developing the global space economy through international cooperation and supporting progress in science, technology, and space exploration; and enhancing space security through dialogue and partnerships.
