Kuwait and Senegal: New Horizons for Developmental and Investment Cooperation

Finance Minister Dr. Yaqoub Al-Rafai held talks with Bassiro Sar, the Minister-Attaché to the Minister of Economy, Finance and Planning and Budget Officer of the Republic of Senegal, on several areas of developmental and investment cooperation that would benefit both countries.

The Ministry of Finance stated in a statement on Thursday that the meeting reviewed a number of financial and economic issues, as well as potential areas of cooperation in the coming period, against the backdrop of the distinguished relations between the two friendly countries.

It added that the meeting took place within the framework of the Senegalese minister’s official visit to the State of Kuwait, attended by Senegal’s Ambassador Hassan Sougou and a number of officials from the Ministry of Finance and the Senegalese Embassy.
