Katz threatens Iran with unprecedented damage

Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz reiterated his warnings on Thursday that any attack on Israel would be met with a powerful response causing unprecedented, severe damage to Iran.

In a recorded video message, he said, “Given the possibility that Iran might decide to attack Israel due to its economic distress and the immense pressure it is facing... I warn the Iranian leadership that any attack, for any reason and from any location,”

Katz emphasized that “any attack will be met with a strong response and will inflict severe damage on Iran that it has never experienced before, including vital energy facilities that provide resources and capabilities to Iran’s military forces.”

He added, “Such an attack would set Iran back by decades and further destabilize the Ayatollahs’ regime, which is hated by the Iranian people and whose downfall they anticipate.”

Meanwhile, Channel 14 reported that amid the escalation in the Middle East, Israel considers Iran the “primary battlefield across various fronts,” with Lebanon ranking second, while Yemen remains in the background.
