Between dream and reality... The convening of this year’s Arab Media Forum is realized amid a new phase for media in all its forms. This forum continues to achieve successive successes, taking significant steps that leave a major impact on modern Arab media, in line with a new, contemporary Arab vision that keeps pace with events worldwide.

As in previous years, the United Arab Emirates will host the Arab Media Forum in the coming period. The forum has become a key destination for all, with the UAE shining through its organization of this event. The forum conveys a strong impression of the personal attention afforded by the highest levels of state leadership to all media issues it champions, which serve humanity as a whole and primarily benefit peoples around the world.

The forum addresses numerous media issues of paramount importance, directing its efforts to shed light on topics that concern the media sector and contribute to its best interests. It does so by engaging prominent global figures and drawing on their expertise to achieve its intended goals.

Furthermore, the dedication of those responsible for the Arab Media Forum to ensuring its success through all available means has contributed significantly to providing valuable service to the media sector and highlighting this vital field.

Accordingly, it can be said that this forum aligns with the genuine media vision for the current stage in the region’s development. We are entitled to take pride in the existence of such an event in our Gulf and Arab region. We extend our gratitude and appreciation for these valuable efforts by the state, led by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai.
