Kuwait Ports Authority: Shipping movement restricted due to congestion

The Cargo Division of Kuwait Airways issued an official circular restricting cargo movements for all agents from September 9 to September 25, 2026, due to operational congestion.

The circular, addressed to airlines dealing with the Cargo Division, clarified that consignments delivered by agents will not be accepted at the cargo terminal until after September 25, with planning for their transfer to commence once the existing congestion is resolved.

The circular exempted special cargo categories and pure express mail shipments, which will continue to undergo processing and export transportation as usual, alongside the continued acceptance of “RFS” shipments without change.
