Trump's financial gift to three White House female employees

Washington (AFP) – U.S. media reported that President Donald Trump gave his executive assistant, Natalie Harb, a cash gift worth $45,000.

Harb has accompanied the U.S. president on a near-permanent basis during his second term, occasionally drafting his social media posts and printing out information, which earned her the nickname “the human printer.”

A White House spokesperson defended the gifts, noting that it is “an established practice of Trump to give Christmas presents to those around him, including sometimes staff members and assistants.”

He emphasized that the gifts were unrelated to the official duties of any of these individuals, making them “fully permissible under legal and ethical standards.”
