King Faisal Road closed to airport-bound traffic for 3 days for maintenance

The General Directorate of Traffic announced a complete closure of King Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Road (Riyadh Road) for traffic coming from Kuwait City toward Kuwait International Airport, from Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Road (Fifth Ring Road) to the intersection of Ibrahim Abdullah Al-Muzain Bridge in the South Surra and Khaitan areas.

The Directorate clarified that the closure will also include the Yarmouk and Khaitan exits on King Faisal Road, with all vehicles coming from Kuwait City being diverted to Sheikh Zayed Road (Fifth Ring Road), starting from dawn on Thursday until dawn on Sunday, September 13, 2026, to carry out necessary road maintenance works.
