Kuwait Oil Company: Kuwait Committed to Its Role as a Reliable Energy Supplier

The Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) participated in the 42nd Annual Asia-Pacific Petroleum Conference (APPEC 2026), held in Singapore, with a delegation led by its Managing Director for Global Marketing, Sheikh Khaled Ahmed Al-Sabah. The conference brought together a select group of energy market leaders and oil and gas industry experts from Asia and around the world.
KPC’s participation this year holds particular significance, as its attendance and discussions with international clients and partners underscored Kuwait’s steadfast commitment to its role as a reliable energy supplier, its dedication to maintaining the security and stability of supply, and its resolve to meet the needs of its customers in Asia and across global markets.
Several KPC leaders took part in the conference’s specialized sessions. Sheikh Khaled Al-Sabah participated in a session titled “Producers’ Strategy for the Next Cycle: How a Major Supplier Navigates Supply Flexibility Changes and Evolving Demand Dynamics.”
Deputy Managing Director for Global Marketing Contracts, Emad Al-Kandari, joined a session on “Strengthening Partnerships with Customers in Petroleum Product Markets Amid Rapidly Changing Trade Conditions,” while Dr. Salah Al-Awadi, Head of the Marketing Research Team, participated in a session titled “Assessing Fuel Oil Trends and Flexibility Levels in Marine Fuel Markets.”
On the sidelines of the conference, the KPC delegation held a series of meetings with the corporation’s clients, partners, and representatives of major global companies.
Separately, KPC hosted its annual reception under the auspices of its regional office in Singapore, attended by numerous clients, partners, and representatives of oil and energy companies from Asia and around the world.
