Al-Omar: Integration and unification of efforts to organize national celebrations and events befitting Kuwait's stature

The Standing Committee for Celebrating National Holidays and Occasions held its meeting today, Tuesday, chaired by the Committee’s Chairman, Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology Affairs and Acting Minister of Media and Culture, Omar Al-Omar, with the attendance of Sheikh Amal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Chairperson of the Volunteer Work Center, and representatives from several relevant government entities.

In a press statement issued today, Tuesday, the Ministry of Media said that the meeting discussed several agenda items concerning the committee’s operational mechanisms, early preparations for national holiday celebrations, and the organization of events and occasions, as well as enhancing coordination and cooperation among the concerned government entities.

The statement quoted Al-Omar emphasizing the importance of unifying efforts and integrating roles among various entities to contribute to organizing national celebrations and events in a manner befitting the stature of the State of Kuwait and reflecting its values and national identity, in accordance with the highest standards of organization and coordination.
