The second chapter has been sent to the printers... within two weeks

The Ministry of Education, represented by the General Directorate of Guidance, Research, and Curricula, has finalized all revisions to the enhanced curricula for grades one through nine, following the receipt of approximately 10,000 responses and observations from parents and educational field practitioners. The printing of the first parts, incorporating the new revisions, has been completed, while work is currently underway to revise the second parts, consisting of the second semester textbooks, with plans to send them to the printers within two weeks.

Directorates of Technical Guidance across various academic disciplines are diligently monitoring and addressing observations regarding the curricula. Some observations included general discussions and opinions, while others comprised fundamental insights identified by educational field practitioners. These have been addressed and necessary revisions have been incorporated into the new editions for the 2026–2027 academic year.

In a separate development, the Technical Guidance Directorate for the Arabic Language has approved the subject plan and diagnostic surveys for the first semester of the 2026–2027 academic year for grades eleven and twelve. It emphasized that school textbooks serve as the primary foundation for training students to achieve curriculum objectives according to specified skills and goals, with further expansion and depth achieved through external references. The interpretation of "Al-Tahrir wa al-Tanwir" is designated as the reference for Quranic texts.
