Suspension of Residential Real Estate Brokerage Licenses

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry suspended commercial licenses for free-zone businesses engaged in real estate brokerage that failed to take advantage of the regularization grace period, during the deadline set by the ministry to halt what is known as virtual real estate brokerage—i.e., operating without a physical office.
The licenses in question belong to free-zone real estate brokers who conduct their brokerage activities from home.
