Strengthening the Presence of Japanese Companies in Kuwaiti Government Tenders

The Central Tenders Board emphasized its commitment to strengthening cooperation with Japan and facilitating the participation of Japanese companies in the country’s major development projects.
This came in a statement issued by the Board following a meeting between its Chairman, Essam Al-Marzouq, and Secretary-General Anwar Al-Tawari, with the Japanese Ambassador to Kuwait, Kenichiro Mukai.
The statement added that the meeting discussed ways to expand partnerships with Japanese companies and encourage them to take advantage of opportunities to participate in government tenders on offer.
It further clarified that the Board presented its initiative, implemented in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to enhance communication with embassies and diplomatic missions and enable them to access the tenders on offer via the Board’s website. This effort aims to inform companies from those countries about available opportunities, broaden the competitive base, and attract global firms with expertise and capabilities.
