Ahmadi Governor Approves Sponsorship of Green Urban Development Initiatives for "Your School's Dream"

Al-Ahmadi Governor Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah explored ways to support the sustainability of the “Amna” project, the first of its kind electronic application in Kuwait, which aims to instill a culture of sorting plastic waste at the source, with a view to recycling it and achieving environmental sustainability.
This came during the Al-Ahmadi Governor’s reception of a delegation from the non-profit company “Amna,” which specializes in plastic collection. The delegation included Amna’s Chief Executive Officer Sanaa Al-Ghamlas, Chief Operating Officer Farah Shaaban, and General Operations Coordinator Abdullah Al-Zaidi.
The delegation also secured the renewal of sponsorship by the Green Urban Development Initiatives Committee for the fourth edition of the “Amna School” plastic collection competition, organized by the company in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and under the supervision of the Public Authority for Environmental Affairs, as part of its efforts to promote positive environmental behavior in schools and support the realization of Kuwait Vision 2035.
