Al-Saqr for Development Launches Qualification and Training for New Appointees

The Abdulaziz Hamad Al-Saqer Center for Development and Progress, affiliated with the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry, announced the launch of the fourth edition of the “Qualification and Training for New Hires” project, running from October 4 to 28, 2026, in the center’s halls at the Chamber.

In a statement, the center explained that the program builds on the success achieved by previous editions since 2023, which attracted more than 100 participants from various public and private sectors. It noted that the program aims to meet the growing demand from state institutions and the private sector for training new personnel, with annual updates to the content to align with labor market needs.

The project spans four weeks and includes 13 training programs delivered by 12 national experts. The courses cover essential topics such as communication skills and workplace ethics, fundamentals of administrative writing, data analysis and decision-making, problem analysis and resolution, quality management, legal awareness for employees in both the public and private sectors, teamwork and professional efficiency enhancement, customer understanding and appropriate service marketing, cybersecurity awareness, artificial intelligence applications in the workplace, and how to effectively utilize Microsoft Office applications.

The program offers participants the opportunity to learn from practical experiences in both the public and private sectors, and to work in groups to develop practical solutions inspired by the local work environment, thereby enhancing their ability to integrate effectively into the labor market.

The statement emphasized that the project is one of the pioneering national initiatives championed by the Chamber of Commerce through the center, a non-profit entity dedicated to empowering youth and preparing them to begin their professional careers with competence and proficiency. This effort is based on specialized studies regarding local labor market needs and underscores the Chamber’s role in supporting human development and improving the work environment in the country.
