Kuwait Shooting Federation Concludes Training Courses Today

The Shooting Club concluded, on Tuesday evening, its annual training courses, which are organized by the club and attended by a large number of Kuwaiti young men and women to learn the fundamentals of Olympic shooting in its various disciplines: pistol, rifle, and archery. The training sessions included safety and security instructions, as well as theoretical and practical training in accordance with the latest global standards, under the supervision of specialized coaches and safety and security supervisors from among Kuwaiti youth. This year’s course lasted 60 days, held in collaboration with the Public Authority for Sports during July and August last year, with the participation of 200 participants of both genders.
For his part, Duaij Al-Otaibi, President of the Kuwaiti and Arab Shooting Federations, extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to the generous support provided by the state, represented by the Public Authority for Sports, to the club, which contributes to the success of the club’s programs and encourages shooters to continue achieving accomplishments at the international level.
Al-Otaibi stated that the shooting training courses hosted and organized by the club in collaboration with the Public Authority for Sports provided an opportunity for the largest possible number of talented and promising young people in the sport of shooting, noting that this sport receives significant interest from young people.
