Head of Customs Inspects Al-Abdali Border Crossing: Continue Developing the Work Environment and Enhancing Readiness
Yousef Al-Nuwaif, head of the General Administration of Customs, conducted a surprise visit to the Abdali border crossing to inspect operations on the ground, assess readiness levels, and review the implementation of customs procedures across various facilities at the crossing.
During the visit, Al-Nuwaif toured the work and inspection sites, observing the flow of passengers, vehicles, and trucks entering and exiting the crossing, as well as the extent of compliance with approved regulations and directives, ensuring the smoothness of procedures and enhancing performance efficiency.
The head of the General Administration of Customs emphasized that these surprise visits are part of continuous on-the-ground follow-up and measuring real-world performance levels. He stressed the importance of continuing to develop the work environment and enhancing the readiness of customs crossings, thereby strengthening national security and facilitating the movement of passengers and trade in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
