Kuwin Wins Two Medals at the Arab Athletics Championships

Kuwait’s track and field athlete Abdulrahman Al-Azmi was crowned gold medalist in the long jump event at the 12th Arab Junior Athletics Championships for athletes under 18, held in Egypt at the National Teams Center track in Maadi from September 5 to 9. The competition featured 15 Arab nations and approximately 276 athletes, marking one of the most significant gatherings of emerging talent in Arab athletics.

Kuwaiti national team player Fahd Al-Dhafiri also secured a silver medal in the same event, recording a jump of 7.15 meters and setting a new Kuwaiti record in the cadets category.

With these results, Kuwaiti athletes strengthened their presence on the podium at the championships, achieving a new milestone for Kuwaiti athletics that reflects the development of young talent and their continued competitiveness in Arab competitions.
