Al-Imran reviewed the squash competition schedule with the clubs

Al-Omran clarified that the federation’s competitions will kick off on the 13th with the postponed Federation Cup from last season, running for 12 days, immediately followed by the National Singles Championship on the 25th of the same month.

He added that the meeting saw the presentation of several proposals, the most prominent of which is reopening the registration window for foreign players, allowing each club to register only one player born in Kuwait. This proposal will be presented at the next board meeting.

Al-Omran revealed that the new season will witness the return of Kuwait SC women’s team to competitions after a two-season hiatus, which will add more strength and excitement to the tournament, especially since the “White” women’s team previously won both the league and cup titles in the first season of women’s competitions six years ago.

Al-Omran expressed his best wishes for success to all clubs and players, emphasizing that the goal is to deliver a season full of competition and excitement, while elevating the technical level of local tournaments, thereby contributing to the discovery and development of more talents capable of representing Kuwaiti squash with distinction in upcoming events.
