Al-Qasr organizes Back to School event at The Avenues

As part of the government program for family protection, the General Authority for Juvenile Affairs organized the “Back to School” event for the 2026–2027 academic year today, Sunday, at The Avenues Mall, with the attendance of Acting Director General Aliya Al-Saqer and participation by several juveniles under the authority’s care and their parents.

The event featured a range of awareness-raising and recreational activities aimed at familiarizing students with the essential skills and requirements for the new academic year, particularly regarding school supplies and materials, alongside interactive activities designed to develop their skills and enhance their knowledge.

Acting Director General Aliya Al-Saqer emphasized that organizing the “Back to School” event aims to prepare students from all educational stages and age groups for returning to school, working to break down psychological barriers and alleviate feelings of apprehension, especially among students newly enrolled in the educational process, by involving them in recreational and interactive activities that combine benefit and enjoyment.

Al-Saqer noted that the authority is committed, through its programs and activities, to providing specialized awareness services, particularly in the fields of education and rehabilitation. She pointed out that organizing this event falls within the authority’s corporate social responsibility programs, which it strives to implement in order to deliver the best services and meet the needs of its wards and those under its care.
