The memory has returned to those difficult days, when the country was occupied and the occupant wreaked havoc, stealing, destroying, and escalating by launching missiles that bombarded the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states... And before the burning of the oil wells, an act of revenge and malice, this hatred toward the GCC states was not born in the moment of defeat; rather, it is a deep-seated resentment that, unfortunately, has become inherited and directed against the Gulf countries, becoming an issue that must be handled with wisdom and caution...

Indeed, the memory has returned to those days, and many, like me, recall how certain countries and regimes supported the aggressor regime, allowing demonstrations in support of the invasion of Kuwait to take place on their soil and under the patronage of their governments, calling for the occupation and destruction of the GCC states... They chanted slogans replete with mockery and schadenfreude, escalating to the point of hurling insults and defamation against the people of the Gulf, fully aware of the extensive support and assistance provided to them by the Gulf countries, both peoples and governments...

Those days taught us how to deal with the world, revealing who stands in support of us and who harbors malice and wishes ill upon the Gulf states... Time lifted the veil, exposing those who supported us in defense of justice and those who sought a price for their backing...

What we are experiencing now is merely a phase that reveals who is a reliable friend in times of hardship, and who harbors malice and wishes us harm rather than good. These events have demonstrated that the GCC states’ wisdom and foresight are superior to hollow slogans and bombastic rhetoric...
