Putin suspends strikes on Kyiv for three days during visit of US envoys

The Kremlin announced on Saturday that Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered a three-day halt to the bombing of Kyiv, coinciding with the visit of US envoys Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff to the Ukrainian capital.

Tass news agency quoted Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov as saying, “Russian President and Supreme Commander-in-Chief Vladimir Putin issued an order to refrain from bombing Kyiv for three days, starting from midnight today,” adding that the decision was linked to “conducting communications” with the US delegation.
