$857 million in investments on the third day of «Lib 2026»

“WAS”, “Al Arabiya” – The “LEAP 2026” conference continued its technological and investment momentum on its third day with new announcements totaling $857 million. These included investment rounds, funding vehicles, and significant expansions in cloud computing, data centers, and tech industries, reflecting the Kingdom’s attractiveness to investors and its ability to empower startups and accelerate their growth toward global markets.
Venture capital investments led the announcements on the third day, with a value nearing $293 million across 11 deals. These comprised nine investment rounds and funding totaling $126.15 million, alongside the launch of a new fund and the expansion of an existing funding vehicle, bringing the total to $166.7 million.
The investment rounds were distributed among companies operating in sectors such as artificial intelligence, fintech, travel, gaming, human resources, and the digital automotive market. Notable participants included COFE Tech, FlyAkeed, Nayla Finance, Sayarah, RABEH, Hazen.ai, ZenHR, Abwab.ai, and TAKA House, with participation from various local and international funds and investors, according to the Saudi Press Agency (WAS).
Fund announcements included the launch of Ula Capital’s $100 million fund, in partnership with South Korea’s FuturePlay, to connect deep-tech investment opportunities between the Kingdom and Korea. Additionally, Impact46 and HALA announced the expansion of their small and medium enterprise (SME) funding fund from $26.7 million to $66.7 million, representing a 150% increase in less than two years.
Continuing the investment momentum, Snowflake announced a $300 million investment to expand its presence in the Kingdom through 2030. This includes opening its regional headquarters, launching two additional cloud regions in the second half of 2026, and training 25,000 individuals, thereby strengthening the Kingdom’s position as a regional hub for data and cloud computing.
In the field of localizing tech industries, Al-Fanar announced a $150 million investment to manufacture data center components within the Kingdom. This move supports national infrastructure capabilities and expands the scope of local content in advanced tech industries.
LogRhythm Middle East announced the establishment of a Cybersecurity Center of Excellence in the Kingdom. The initiative aims to train and empower 50,000 Saudi nationals, while expanding into research, innovation, and the development of advanced security solutions. This supports the building of national capabilities and enhances workforce readiness in the intelligent era.
On the conference’s main stage, HUMAIN highlighted two of its enterprise AI solutions: “HUMAIN Enterprise Chat” and “HUMAIN Marketplace.” These offerings present a model for transforming HUMAIN’s integrated AI capabilities into practical tools that serve enterprises and accelerate the adoption of advanced technologies.
The presentation was delivered by Dr. Yasser Al-Anizan, Executive Vice President and Head of AI at HUMAIN; Dr. Araib Al-Owais, Vice President of Models; and Dr. Manal Al-Assaf, First Vice President of the Marketplace platform. They outlined the role of producers in facilitating enterprises’ access to, adoption of, and deployment of AI technologies within secure business environments.
“HUMAIN Enterprise Chat” provides a secure enterprise chat experience, enabling employees to integrate AI into daily workflows while maintaining governance, security, and control requirements. Within weeks of its launch, it successfully attracted more than 30 clients.
Today’s announcements on the third day of “Lib 2026” underscore the continued momentum driving the Kingdom’s technology and innovation ecosystem, its growing capacity to attract capital and high-quality investments, empower startups, localize advanced industries, and build a competitive digital economy that leads opportunities in the intelligent era.
