Firefight between Inter and Napoli

All eyes will be on the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium on Saturday, where defending champions Inter Milan will host Napoli in a top-of-the-table clash in the third round of the Italian Serie A, pitting two teams that entered the season with high ambitions but under different circumstances.
Inter enters the match with a clear psychological advantage, having collected maximum points in their first two rounds, while Napoli are seeking to quickly regain their composure following a surprising defeat to Como in the previous round.
Inter have started the season strongly under Romanian coach Cristian Chivu, securing two consecutive league victories. The team opened their campaign with a 4-1 win over Monza, before returning from Cagliari with a hard-fought 1-0 victory, accumulating six points and aiming to temporarily take sole possession of the top spot.
The home side hopes to continue this strong start against a rival of Napoli’s stature, particularly as a victory would provide a significant boost in the race for the summit from the early weeks of the season.
On the other side, Napoli arrive in Milan under pressure to produce a swift reaction. The team began the season with an away win against Genoa, 2-0, but suffered a sudden setback in the second round, losing 2-1 to visitors Como.
Inter possess a squad capable of dictating the tempo, led by Nicolo Barella, Turkish international Hakan Calhanoglu, and Petar Susic, with the team demonstrating the ability to transition rapidly from build-up to attack.
The round opens today with the match between Genoa and Como. On Saturday, Fiorentina will also face Torino, while league leaders Roma (six points) will take on Atalanta.
