Kuwait's Basket in a Strong Group in the Asian Final 8

The draw for the final stage of the 2026 West Asia Basketball Super League “Wasl” placed Al-Kuwait Club in a strong Group A alongside Lebanese champions Beirut Club, holders of the title in the past two seasons, Saudi Arabia’s Al-Jeddah Club, and Indian Railways, in a group featuring intense matchups and divergent ambitions, as the four teams compete for one of two spots in the semifinals.
Group B comprises Iran’s Shahrdari Gorgan, Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ola, Qatar’s Al-Arabi, and Lebanon’s Al-Hakam, completing the field of eight clubs competing for the championship title in the tournament hosted in Beirut.
Each group will play a single round-robin format, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the semifinals, where the finalists for the championship match will be determined before the crowning of the 2026 “Wasl” champion concludes the tournament.
