Kuwait and Egypt: Strengthening Joint Military Cooperation Between the Armed Forces of the Two Countries

Brigadier General Engineer Salah Saud Al-Azmi, Deputy Chief of Staff for the Supply and Logistics Corps, chaired the Kuwaiti Armed Forces delegation at the 15th meeting of the Kuwait-Egypt Cooperation Committee, held in the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt.

The meeting discussed several issues of mutual interest and explored ways to develop cooperation and exchange expertise, contributing to strengthening joint efforts between the armed forces of the two brotherly countries.

Brigadier General Engineer Salah Saud Al-Azmi also met with his Egyptian counterpart, Major General Mohamed Kamal, Head of the Supply and Logistics Corps of the Egyptian Armed Forces, and Major General Ahmed Omar, Director of Cooperation. During the meeting, views were exchanged on several topics related to military cooperation and ways to enhance existing coordination between the two sides.

On the sidelines of the meetings, Commander of the Naval Force, Brigadier General (Navy) Saif Al-Hamalan, met with his Egyptian counterpart, Fleet Admiral Mahmoud Fawzi, Commander of the Egyptian Naval Forces. They discussed areas of maritime cooperation and coordination between the two sides, as well as exchanging expertise in several fields of mutual interest.

Attending the meetings were Major General Dhafer Falih Al-Hajeri, Head of the Kuwaiti Military Attaché in the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt, and several senior commanding officers from both sides.
