Al-Habshi Honors 27 Quran Memorizers in Al-Jahra

Al-Jahra Governorate honored 27 memorizers of the Holy Quran from among the governorate’s residents during a ceremony held in collaboration with the Al-Jahra Governorate Mosques Administration and with support from Kuwait International Bank, in recognition of their efforts and excellence in Quranic memorization and recitation, and to encourage them to continue their Quranic journey.

Al-Habshi expressed his pride and admiration for the achievements of the Quran memorizers, emphasizing that honoring them stems from the importance placed on nurturing the youth and young adults, and supporting outstanding talents and abilities, thereby contributing to instilling Islamic values and noble ethics and strengthening the connection of generations with the Book of God.

Al-Jahra Governorate reaffirmed its commitment to supporting community initiatives aimed at encouraging the governorate’s residents and honoring their outstanding members, as well as highlighting exemplary youth models who contribute to serving society and reinforcing authentic values in the hearts of future generations.

For his part, Al-Suwailm emphasized that care for the Holy Quran is a top priority for the “Islamic Affairs” sector, noting the Ministry’s commitment to expanding the network of Quran centers and houses, revitalizing Quran study circles in mosques across Kuwait, and organizing local and international Quran competitions.

Attending the ceremony were Abdulhamid Al-Mutairi, Director of the Al-Jahra Governorate Mosques Administration; Othman Tawfiqi, General Manager of Personal Banking at Kuwait International Bank; Abdulaziz Al-Shammari, Assistant General Manager of Personal Banking; along with a number of officials and parents of the honored individuals.
