"The Governorate in the Heart of the Capital" ... A Successful Conclusion and Distinctive Public Engagement

Capital Governor Sheikh Abdullah Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah affirmed that the “Capital in the Heart of the Capital” initiative aims to encourage community members to walk and engage in physical activity, and to raise awareness of the importance of sports and adopting a healthy lifestyle. He praised the large turnout and positive participation the event witnessed over three days.

This came during the Capital Governor’s patronage and attendance, alongside the presence of the Minister of Health, at the closing ceremony of the second season of the national initiative “Capital in the Heart of the Capital” in the Capital Mall, amid distinctive public attendance and interaction.

The ceremony included honoring participants with the highest number of recorded steps, as well as recognizing participating and supporting entities, in appreciation of their efforts and active contribution to organizing and ensuring the success of the event.

The Governor commended the efforts of the Public Authority for Youth and Sports, the Police Sports Federation, the Public Authority for Environmental Public Health, and all participating and supporting entities, including Warba Bank, Commercial Bank, Booda Star Motor Group, and Capital Mall. He also expressed his gratitude to the public, the working teams, and volunteers who contributed to presenting the initiative in the desired manner.
