Arab League condemns Iran's blatant renewed attacks on Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan

The League warned in a statement about the repercussions of the current Iranian escalation wave on Arab states, emphasizing that it poses a serious threat to the security and stability of the region. It stressed that its continuation signals a renewed expansion of the conflict.

The League affirmed that the continued escalationist approach not only threatens the security of the Gulf Arab states but also exposes the entire regional security architecture to growing risks, undermines remaining opportunities for de-escalation, and dissipates efforts aimed at opening political channels to address the crisis.

It reaffirmed its full solidarity with Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan, and its support for their inherent right to safeguard their sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national security, as well as their right to take what they deem legitimate measures under international law in the face of any threats or attacks targeting them.

It called for an immediate halt to these attacks, for restraint, and for refraining from any steps that could widen the confrontation, stressing that continued escalation will not resolve the root causes of the crisis but will instead deepen it and increase its costs for the entire region.
